Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the garments made?

We grade each of our patterns and cut and sew them at a local facility here in Vancouver, BC.

After the cut and sew, I piece-dye the garments by hand in natural dyes (made from plants), at my studio in Vancouver. Each of the capsule items are available in their natural colour or botanical colour.

*** SOME OF OUR NEW ADDITIONS WE ARE MAKING WITH RECLAIMED TEXTILES aka Deadstock. It's another avenue to producing sustainable garments, by recycling textiles.

What do I need to know about botanical colours?

We have been colour developing with natural dyes over the last year. Each piece from this collection is dyed separately, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. Here are a few disclaimers: The colour may not match exact to what's on your screen... but we will make sure its a beautiful hue and as close as possible to the one you have chosen. Our colours and fabric are "Natural Looking", and not always "perfect". Our dye recipes are colourfast, meaning the colours are permanent, though natural dyes can fade slightly over time or in bright sunlight. We will have care instructions sent to you and on our website at time of delivery. In condensed form, the care for our garments looks like this: hand wash, in cold water, hang or lay flat to dry. (This type of care will preserve your colours and garment life-span).

How do I find my size?

Don't know how to Measure? Here's how to determine the closest fit to your size: note: I recommend to order a size that won't fit you tight. Though our fabrics are pre-shrunk before assembly, they are made from natural fibres and meant to fit as a looser, more casual fit, ... for comfort and natural chic-ness!

BUST : Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.

WAIST : Measure around your natural waistline, below your rib cage, leaving the tape a bit loose.

HIP: Measure around the fullest part of your body, above the top of your legs.

Here's our size chart, remember to round up your size. We will not be able to accept returns or exchanges, so please feel free to message if you have any questions!

How long will my order take to arrive?

We are working towards a greener and cleaner approach to clothing production and fashion. By choosing to be a sustainable brand, we are pursuing healthy choices. Each garment is sewn and dyed by hand. This is a slower process than fast fashion... and we believe this is the future: Working with nature rather than against it.
